Youth in the Church
Are you in grade 7 to 12?
Looking for somewhere to have fun... be challenged... to meet new people and make new friends... try something new or different...more importantly learn about Jesus and who is really is?
Well Burnie Christian Centre Youth Group is for you!
We meet almost every Friday during a school year/term to get together, have fun, make friends, eat some supper and learn about what it means to have a relationship with Jesus.
We are not a baby-sitting club, we are so much better than that! It’s not about sitting around and doing nothing, we make the most of our time having fun and getting involved!
Some of the things that have been on our programmes:
• Photo evidence night
• Pirates night
• Bowling
• Beach cricket, kayaking and swimming
• Ice blocking and tyre tumbling
• Mystery bus tour / Big day out
• Bush walking
• TV Games night
• Dress-up nights
• Irish auctions
• Big Screen movies
We are not only aimed at impacting our youth, we believe that their families are important as well, we like to be involved not only in the lives of our youth but meet their parents and siblings as well.
We have a team of dedicated leaders ready and willing to get to know you!
