As we know worship is a lifestyle and it has many aspects. However, today I'm focusing on the power of corporate worship. Anyone who knows me, knows I love to worship. I love joining in with those around me and the creatures in heaven. I start to envision myself there in God's presence at His throne. To be drawn into His presence and to be a part of that alongside God's family is amazing.
Worshipping God with other like minded people, who want to see God adored and glorified is fantastic. We were created and designed to worship Him, it's in our very being, in our make up.
Psalm 100:2 says " Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before Him singing with joy".
It is such a wonderful opportunity to show God how glad and thankful we are for all He has done in our lives. It takes our thoughts off ourselves and we start to think about all that He is and what He has done along side of what He WILL do. Our stress levels decrease as we focus on Him, removing the focus from our anxiety and stress and onto Him.
Worship is powerful, it draws the lost and broken to Jesus. We can receive healing and miracles right where we are standing. We can find peace and joy, as it draws us nearer to God. There is deliverance and breakthrough for any circumstance. Worship renews your strength and strengthens your faith. It can change the atmosphere as in Acts 16:25, chains are broken, prison doors are opened and we are set free.
Psalm 103:1 declares, "With all my heart I praise the Lord, and with all that I am I praise His holy name!" Singing with all you have and raising your hands in adoration to God, who is worthy of so much more, softens our hearts and helps prepare our hearts and minds to receive God's word.
It is sowonderful to be able to touch God's heart through corporate worship. He dwells in our praises, He loves our praises, It is truly life changing.
I would like to encourage anyone who reads this to continue to worship God with all that you are and with all that you have. In your own genuine way express to God your gladness, thankfulness and love for Him. It touches His heart and the benefits we receive are far-reaching.
God bless, Tina.x
