What to expect At Burnie Christian Centre we believe that God wants to have a relationship with everyone. You will find our services casual, interesting, informative and high energy. You are welcome to arrive a few minutes before the service and chat to our welcoming team before you grab a seat and sit back and enjoy. We begin the service with about 30 minutes of praise and worship. Our band consists of keyboards, guitars, drums and vocals leading us in the newest worship songs. Everyone is encouraged to participate in singing, clapping and lifting up their hands as we lift up the name of Jesus. After our praise and worship time, Greg or one of the other speakers will talk for 30 or so minutes in an energetic and relevant way. Our goal is to challenge and encourage everyone. After the evening service we chat over coffee, tea or cold drink, together with yummy finger food. This is a great time to get to know each other a little better. We have a lift for those who may find the stairs a little difficult to climb to reach the auditorium. Who we are Burnie Christian Centre commenced in the 1960s and as we have grown we have had to change location on several occasions. We are an independent local church relating to CRC Churches International. Along with many other churches in many different parts of the world we work together to impact our community, nation, and world with the love of Jesus Christ. Through our relationship with CRC Churches International we receive instruction, encouragement and friendship, whilst making ourselves accountable. The purpose of Burnie Christian Centre is therefore to introduce people to Jesus Christ, engraft them into His church and equip them to do His will in all areas of life, that God may be glorified.
